HONORING THE LIFE OF KARL BLOOM

GRANTS TO PROVIDE k-12 STUDENTS WITH FINANCIAL NEED THE SUPPORT TO ALLOW THEM TO PURSUE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The Bloom Where You Are Planted Grant Fund was created by the family of Karl Bloom. Karl’s life was an example to so many people about how to give back to your community. He was very involved in helping with extracurricular activities as a way of promoting community, service, and health to our youth.

These grants will provide students with financial need the support to allow them to pursue extracurricular activities. Anyone in Mesa County in grades K-12 is eligible to apply for the grants.

Funds will be paid directly to the organization for the students who receive the grant. Fifth round applications due: Monday, September 13, 2021.
